New Curriculum Structure and Content
From IS Curriculum
As described in the guiding principles, all Information Systems curricula must include seven core courses related to Information Systems Specific Knowledge and Skills. In addition, many IS curricula incorporate a selection of elective courses depending on the career tracks that an institution has decided to offer, together with topics related to the development of foundational knowledge and topics and domain knowledge. The career track list presented below is not intended to be exhaustive.
The matrix below represents the relative importance of each of the courses (both core and elective) in the context of each of the career tracks. It does not, however, include courses related to the foundational and domain knowledge. Please note that the when offered as part of a specific curriculum, the strength and the extent of the coverage included in the courses varies depending on the local conditions.
