Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1)

TwilightI just finished reading the first book of the Twilight series, by Stephenie Meyer. Yes, I am a Young Adult literature consumer! Don’t let the media fool you; it’s NO Harry Potter, but it is an enjoyable teen vampire romance. I don’t think that there can ever be enough vampire books, thanks to the “Blood, Guts, and Ghouls” gothic literature course that I took in college. I have already requested book two of the Twilight series through interlibrary loan, so I guess I’m hooked.

Check to see if our copy of the book is available. You will definitely want to read it before the film adaptation, staring Robert Pattinson (AKA Harry Potter’s Cedric Diggory), comes out this December.

Just a note – we do have the next three titles in this series (New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) on order for the popular reading collection. Hopefully they will be here soon!
